Room 4 have been exploring advertising and persuasive techniques through the unit named 'The Power of Persuasion'. Students then applied their new knowledge to develop a marketing campaign in collaborative teams. Market research was completed to design the perfect cupcake. Teams were required to develop planning documents, create nets, design cartons, create advertising posters, as well as producing the product. Members of the target audiences were asked to vote on the effectiveness of each marketing team's campaign Cupcakes were then sold on Friday 29th August as a fundraiser for Daffodil Day. This combined with a coin trail raised over $250 for a great cause. Well done Tasman School!
